How to Apply
If you would like your teacher training to be based at a school where you can be fully immersed in the life of a teacher from day one, School Direct is for you. We cater for both graduates and career changers who want hands-on training in a school environment.
What are the entry requirements?
You should have, or anticipate having, a good honours degree (2.1 or above).
You must have GCSEs (grade C or above) or equivalent in English, maths and science.
The University of Manchester also require that candidates have 2 A levels (grade C or above).
Any offer of a place on the programme is made conditional on satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly the Criminal Records Bureau – CRB) and a satisfactory Fitness to Teach Declaration.

2.Look at the courses on offer and make your choice.
3. Follow the link to the UCAS website and apply online.
What happens next?
Once your application has been received by UCAS it will be sent to us for review and you will receive notification as to whether you have secured an interview. For those who are unsuccessful at this stage, you will be provided with feedback.
