How to Apply

If you would like your teacher training to be based at a school where you can be fully immersed in the life of a teacher from day one, our training is for you. We cater for both graduates and career changers who want hands-on training in a school environment.

 

What are the entry requirements?

 

Degree

You should have, or anticipate having, an honours degree (2.2 or above).

 

GCSEs

You must have a minimum of 6 GCSEs which include English, maths and science (grade C or above or equivalent). 

 

A Levels

Candidates must also have 2 A levels (grade C or above) to be eligible for the programme.  

 

Please include ALL qualifications on your application through APPLY.

 

Offers of a place on the programme are conditional on satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly the Criminal Records Bureau – CRB), satisfactory Fitness to Teach Declaration and good references.

 

How to Apply

 

1. Visit the DfE ‘Find’ website here: St Andrew’s 2C7/E723
2.Look at the courses on offer and make your choice.
3. Go to the Apply for Teacher Training site and complete the application.  Please include details of ALL GCSE qualifications, not just English, maths and science.

 

What happens next?

 

Once your application has been received it will be sent to us for review and you will receive notification as to whether you have secured an interview. For those who are unsuccessful at this stage, you will be provided with feedback.
